'2 Dope Queens' taping second season for HBO at Kings Theatre

Phoebe Robinson and Jessica Williams will hit Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre on December 4 and 5 to tape episodes for 2 Dope Queens‘ second season for HBO. The much-loved 2 Dope Queens started as a podcast before also becoming a Tig Notaro-directed series for HBO that premiered earlier this year and featured such guests as Jon Stewart, Tituss Burgess, and Sarah Jessica Parker (season one was also recorded at Kings Theatre). Tickets for the upcoming Kings Theatre shows go on artist and AmEx presale today (9/19) at 10 AM, followed by the public on-sale starting Friday (9/21) at 10 AM.

2 Dope Queens season two will premiere on HBO in 2019. No word on who the special guests will be yet, so stay tuned.

Phoebe Robinson is also hosting “‘Everything’s Trash but It’s Okay’ – A night with Phoebe Robinson” at Brooklyn’s Bell House on October 14 (tickets).
