Canada’s The Polaris Music Prize has whittled down its longlist into its ten-LP shortlist who will vie for the 2017 award. Can anything beat Leonard Cohen‘s You Want it Darker? Probably not, but other nominees include Feist‘s Pleasure, Weaves‘ self-titled debut, previous winner Tanya Tagaq‘s Retribution, Leif Vollebekk‘s Twin Solitude, and BADBADNOTGOOD‘s IV.
