2018 Oscar winners: full list ('Shape of Water,' 'Get Out,' 'Call Me By Your Name,' more)

It’s Hollywood’s biggest night, the 90th annual Academy Awards with Jimmy Kimmel returning to host. Hopefully we won’t have a mix-up like we did with Moonlight and La La Land year. “If you hear your name, don’t get up right away,” joked Jimmy Kimmel at the top of the show.

The Shape of Water won Best Picture and Guillermo Del Toro won Best Director for The Shape of Water.

Gary Oldman won Best Actor for Darkest Hour; Frances McDormand won Best Actress for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, MissouriSam Rockwell for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Three Billboards, while Allison Janney won Best Supporting Actress for I, Tonya.

Jordan Peele deservedly won Best Original Screenplay for Get Out; while James Ivory won Best Adapted Screenplay for Call Me By Your Name.

Sufjan Stevens performed his nominated “Mystery of Love” (from Call Me By Your Name) with help from St. Vincent, Moses Sumney, Chris Thile and more helping out. Mary J. Blige, who lost Best Supporting Actress to Allison Janney, performed her song “River Bound” from Mudbound; and Common and Andra Day may have had the most powerful musical performance, with a politically charged rendition of “Stand Up For Something” from Marshall. They all lost to “Remember Me” from Coco.

Meanwhile, Jonny Greenwood (Phantom Thread) lost to Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water).

Eddie Vedder performed Tom Petty’s “Room at the Top fo the World” form the In Memoriam montage. Watch that below.

Best Costume Design winner Mark Bridges won a Jetski for having the shortest speech!

The Oscars also aired a moving segment about representation, where, among other things, Kumail Nanjiani said, “Some of my favorite movies are movies by straight white dudes, about white straight dudes. Now, straight white dudes can watch movies starring me and you relate to that. It’s not that hard. I’ve done it my whole life.” Watch:
