88rising share single "Midsummer Madness" off upcoming crew album

Record label 88rising has put out many quality releases over the past few months, quickly making a name for themselves as one of the frontunners in Asian hip hop. Yesterday, many of the label’s flagship artists banded together on new single “Midsummer Madness,” which is set to appear on the label’s upcoming crew album, titled Head In The Clouds. This new track features an infectious, melodic hook from Joji, and verses from Rich Brian, Higher Brothers, and August 08. The song’s hazy sound mirrors its summery title, and these warm themes continue in the track’s video, which depicts the artists partying together in a tropical setting. You can watch the video for the song below.

As previously reported, 88rising will be throwing their Head In The Clouds festival on September 22 in Los Angeles State Historic Park, which features appearances from all the artists mentioned above, alongside labelmates Keith Ape and NIKI, as well as Laff Traxx (aka Toro y Moi & Nosaj Thing), and many others. Tickets are still on sale.
