A Perfect Circle played new songs at Barclays Center (pics, setlist)

A Perfect Circle — whose current lineup has longtime members Maynard James Keenan (Tool), James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins), and Billy Howerdel — are gearing up to release their first album since their 2004 covers album Emotive and they’re eyeing a 2018 release. Having released lead single “The Doomed,” the band brought their tour to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center last night (11/2). They played that new single, plus two other new songs (“Hourglass” and “Feathers”), and older faves like “The Outsider,” “Weak and Powerless,” “3 Libras,” “The Noose,” and more. Pictures are in the gallery above and their setlist is below.

We haven’t found videos from the Barclays Center show yet, but you can listen to new single “The Doomed” and watch them play the other two new songs at other recent shows, below.

Maynard James Keenan was also busy with Tool earlier this year, and we caught the Tool tour at Boston Calling (review), Governors Ball (pics), and their huge Cali show with Primus, Clutch, Fantomas, Melvins, and The Crystal Method.
