A Place to Bury Strangers at Villain

A Place to Bury Strangers, Oneida, & Yvette @ Villain (pics)

It was a dissonant, dystopian night at Williamsburg spot Villain on Friday (3/3), with A Place to Bury Strangers and Yvette bringing the shriiiing amidst waves of distortion, fog, strobes and, in the case of APTBS, flung instruments. Veteran indie rock outliers Oneida, by no means a calm or quiet band, still offered a slight respite between those two dedicated noisemakers. Pictures from the night are in the gallery above.

You’ll soon be able to catch A Place to Bury Strangers on tour with Black Angels.
