A Tribe Called Quest share cameo-filled "Space Program" video, hosting pop-up @ House of Vans

A Tribe Called Quest have shared the video for “Space Program,” the opening track on 2016’s awesome We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service. Directed by Warren Fu, the video is a sci-fi epic (eight minutes including the credits) that plays off Alien (and works in clips of Fahrenheit 451 and Thunderbirds) while incorporating the political activism intrinsic to the song and album. There are cameos from Common, Questlove, Erykah Badu, Rosario Dawson, Alicia Keys, Ladybug Mecca, Janelle Monae, Anderson Paak, Pharrell Williams, Vince Staples, Talib Kweli and more. It’s currently available exclusively on Apple Music but you can watch a minute preview of what they’re calling their “final video” below.

Meanwhile ATCQ are hosting a two-day pop-up at Brooklyn’s House of Vans on Friday (3/30) and Saturday (3/31) which celebrates the group’s line of Vans footwear. There will be ATCQ autograph signings, DJs and performers both days. RSVP is closed but details are below.
