Abra & Mykki Blanco opening MØ tour, NYC show on presale (password here)
As mentioned, MØ is touring in 2019 behind her new album Forever Neverland (which features Empress Of, Charli XCX, and Diplo), and since we last spoke, she revealed all venues for the tour and revealed two very cool openers. Avant-R&B singer Abra will open the East Coast and Midwest dates, and boundary-pushing rapper Mykki Blanco will open on the West Coast.
Tickets for the Governors Ball-presented NYC show, which happens January 19 at Hammerstein Ballroom, are on BrooklynVegan presale now. PASSWORD = BrooklynVegan. If you miss out on the presale, you can try again for tickets when the public on-sale begins Friday (10/26) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.
Meanwhile, Abra has been busy starring in the new film Assassination Nation, and she also contributed to the new Toro y Moi album that was just announced yesterday.
Mykki Blanco is (weirdly enough) on tour with goth pop rockers She Wants Revenge as we speak, and that tour hits NYC’s Irving Plaza tonight (10/24).
