Due to weather concerns including forecasted winds exceeding 40mph, tomorrow’s Louis Armstrong’s Wonderful World Festival has relocated to the intimate Colden Auditorium at the Kupferberg Center For The Arts (65-30 Kissena Blvd, Flushing).

Seats will be available on a first come, first serve basis, and all VIP ticket holders will be guaranteed with seats in the first few rows.

Louis Armstrong’s Wonderful World Festival is back for its fifth year and happens on Saturday, July 21 in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. This year’s headliner is Queens native Action Bronson, and the lineup also includes New Orleans brass band The Soul Rebels (who frequently collaborate on stage with rappers), and more musical acts TBA.

A press release notes: “In addition to a diverse musical line-up, the festival will include food trucks, activities, and more, all paying tribute to the legacy of Louis Armstrong. Additionally, Ricky Riccardi, the Director of Research Collections at Louis Armstrong House Musuem and author of “What A Wonderful World: The Magic of Louis Armstrong’s Later Years,” will host lectures and appear at the festival’s Louis Armstrong House Museum tent.”
