Adam Ant will be playing Adam & The Ants’ 1980 new wave classic Kings of the Wild Frontier in full on tour in early 2017. Dates include a stop at NYC’s Webster Hall on January 27. Tickets for Webster Hall are currently on a variety of presales with the general on-sale starting Friday, September 30 at noon.

Kings of the Wild Frontier was a #1 UK smash, briefly popularizing both the “Burundi Beat” sound and pirate wear, and spawned hits “Dog Eat Dog,” “Ant Music” and “Kings of the Wild Frontier.” Its brash spirit holds up really well today and if you’ve never listened to the LP, you can stream it via Spotify and check out videos for the singles, below.
