From the point of view of what new artists are “hot” in the UK right now (or something like that), Adele (“the next Amy Winehouse”…) definitely seems more interesting than the jing jong band, and Joe’s Pub is just the place for a show by someone like her. She is signed to XL Recordings, like Radiohead, and Vampire Weekend, and (and according to Wikipedia) her best friend. Her debut album “19” is out now. All tour dates, and a video, below..
