Adventures, LVL UP and Palehound opening for Basement

UK rockers Basement announced a US summer tour earlier this month, and today they revealed the openers for the East Coast leg. They’ll be joined by their punky Run for Cover labelmates Adventures, and two Exploding In Sound bands, LVL UP and Palehound. Here’s what Basement said about the openers:

We are really excited to announce that ADVENTURES, LVL UP and PALEHOUND will be the support bands for the second leg of our USA tour this summer. The bands we get to support us are bands that we have chosen ourselves because we either love them as people, as a band or both. If you haven’t heard of one of the bands don’t just dismiss them because you haven’t heard their music before, go check them out and listen to them. Excited to tour this summer with these awesome bands.

That leg of dates includes the NYC show happening August 17 at Irving Plaza.

UPDATE: The NYC show was moved to Gramercy Theatre. Tickets are still available.

The NJ show, which is co-headlining with Title Fight, doesn’t have LVL UP or Palehound but it does have Adventures as well as Alex G (who also plays NYC with Girlpool in July). Tickets for that one are available too. All dates are listed below.

Adventures were in NYC last week, and related band Code Orange returns to open for Poison the Well in May, and they’ll be in the area this July on the Rockstar Mayhem Fest tour with Slayer, King Diamond and more.

LVL UP and Palehound also have a NYC show together this Saturday (4/18) at Silent Barn with Ava Luna (album release show) and Palberta. LVL UP also play NYU Strawberry Festival with Cloud Nothings and more in May, and they’ll hit Shea on their tour with Glocca Morra and Greys later that month.
