Afropunk 2019 set times (Tierra Whack vs Leikeli47, Death Grips vs Kamasi Washington)

Afropunk Brooklyn returns to Commodore Barry Park on August 24-25 for its 2019 edition, and set times for this year have been revealed in the festival’s app. Each night’s headliner (Jill Scott on Saturday and FKA twigs on Sunday) plays unopposed, but for the rest of each day you’ll often have to choose between conflicting acts. Those conflicts include Junglepussy vs Kari Faux, EarthGang vs Rico Nasty, and Leikeli47 vs Tierra Whack on Saturday. On Sunday, Santigold vs Danny Brown, and Death Grips vs Kamasi Washington are two of the major conflicts. Download Afropunk’s app to see the full schedule.
