Aimee Mann expands tour, playing MHOW in June

Aimee Mann recently released her excellent, sad, folky new album Mental Illness (read a review), and she begins a tour in support of it this month. Opening is Jonathan Coulton (who contributes to Mental Illness).

The tour already included a NYC show on April 22 at Town Hall, which is now sold out, and it now also includes a smaller NYC show on June 26 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Jonathan Coulton opens that one too. Tickets go on sale Friday (4/7) at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday (4/5) at noon. Updated dates are listed below.

Aimee’s new album also features contributions from her The Both bandmate Ted Leo, whose own upcoming album features Aimee (and Jonathan Coulton).
