Air's JB Dunckel dives into a dreamy liquid digital world in "Love Machine" video

“Love Machine,” the current single from Air’s JB Dunckel, is pretty otherworldly, full of multi-layered analog synths, gurgling sequencers, and cosmic arpeggios. The song, which is from Dunckel’s forthcoming solo albu H+, now has a video that is equally transportive. Made by visual artist Eva Papamargariti, it’s a mesmerizing mellange of imagery, and is likely trippiest thing you’re likely to see this week this side of the final 20 minutes of Annihilation. Says JB:

The “Love Machine” video is a travel Into the unconsciousness of the mind, the 3-D animation made by Eva Papamargariti reveals a wild artificial nature floating somewhere in the deepness of the soul. We did a 3-D scan of my body to project myself in this dreamy liquid digital world. I’m falling and falling in the abyss searching for healing.

The video premieres in this post and you can watch below.

H+ is out March 16 via Jive/Epic.
