Alex Lahey played MHOW and 'Seth Meyers' (pics, video)

Alex Lahey‘s tour with Dude York hit NYC for a BrooklynVegan-presented show on Thursday night (11/16) at Music Hall of Williamsburg, with quality local support from Nervous Dater. Alex played every song on her recently-released debut album I Love You Like A Brother (Dead Oceans) and every song on last year’s B-Grade University EP. She also did her punky cover of Natalie Imbruglia’s ’90s hit “Torn.” Alex and her band sounded even tighter than when they made their NYC debut in March, and Alex also mentioned on stage that it was her first time playing “I Love You Like A Brother” with her brother in attendance. While in NYC, Alex stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers to make her US television debut with “Every Day’s the Weekend.” Watch below.
