stay tuned, update: listen here). She’ll also be returning to North America for live shows, which are mostly TBA.
The tour will include a BrooklynVegan-presented NYC show on November 16 at Music Hall of Williamsburg with openers TBA. Tickets go on BrooklynVegan presale Wednesday (7/26). Check back here Wednesday morning for the password.
UPDATE: BROOKLYNVEGAN PRESALE PASSWORD FOR NYC SHOW HERE. All North American tour dates, album details, and the video for Alex’s new single are also at that link.
BrooklynVegan also proudly presented Alex’s NYC debut at Rough Trade and Mercury Lounge this past March. She played some great-sounding new songs at those shows, which we’ll hope to be hearing on her debut album. In case you missed it, check out our pictures and reviews of the shows HERE.
Alex also recently did a slightly punky cover of Natalie Imbruglia’s ’90s classic “Torn” for triple j’s “Like A Version” series. Watch a video of Alex and her band playing that cover, and stream her great debut EP B-Grade University, below.
