Alkaline Trio are on tour now supporting their upcoming album Is This Thing Cursed? (due 8/31 via Epitaph), having played NYC’s Brooklyn Steel on Friday (8/17). They played some stuff from the new album, plus classics like “Radio,” “Cringe,” “Private Eye,” “This Could Be Love,” “We’ve Had Enough,” and more. Opening was garage punk party animals together PANGEA and new punk super-duo Ogikubo Station (Maura Weaver of Mixtapes and Mike Park of Asian Man Records, who released the first two Alkaline Trio albums). Mike Park brought out an Alkaline Trio cake for fans waiting outside before the show started. Pictures of the cake and the show are in the gallery above.
