Alvvays at Warsaw

Alvvays, Snail Mail & Hatchie played 3 nights @ Warsaw (Friday pics, setlist, video)

Always, Snail Mail and Hatchie — a pretty killer bill for fans of poppy, jangly indie rock — just played three consecutive sold-out nights at Brooklyn’s Warsaw. Things wrapped up Friday night (9/28) and to celebrate the run, Hatchie and Snail Mail joined Alvvays for the final song of the night, a cover of “Alimony,” the 1987 single by Australian band The Hummingbirds. (The cover’s been an Alvvays live staple for a few years.) You can watch that, and check out Alvvays’ setlist below, and pictures from Friday night’s show are in the gallery above.

Hatchie play a headline show at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on Tuesday (10/2) with Shannen Moser and The Natvral (Kip from The Pains of Being Pure at Heart) and tickets are still available. Snail Mail’s next NYC-area show Jersey CIty’s White Eagle Hall in November,  and the will open for Interpol and Car Seat Headrest at Madison Square Garden in February.
