Amadou & Mariam prep new LP, share "Bofou Safou" & mixtape, touring
Acclaimed Malian music duo Amadou & Mariam have just released infectious new single “Bofou Safou” which will be on their new album La Confusion, due out later this year via Because Music. (It’s be their first since 2012’s Folila.) You can check out the lyric video for the single below. While we wait for the LP, the pair have also shared James Stewart (Voilaaa Sound System) & Amadou & Mariam Present: The ‘Bofou Safou’ Mixtape, which you can also stream below.
Amadou & Mariam, who haven’t been here in a while, will be on tour in North America this summer. No NYC show has been announced so far but surely something (maybe Celebrate Brooklyn?) will pop up. All current dates are listed below.
