Amanda Palmer & Edward Ka-Spel (Legendary Pink Dots) announce collaborative LP & tour
Amanda Palmer and Edward Ka-Spel of psych-post-punk cult icons The Legendary Pink Dots have made a collaborative album, I Can Spin a Rainbow, which will be out May 5. Amanda and Ka-Spel have known each other for over 20 years — she let LPD crash at her apartment in Boston during their 1995 tour — and the two have been planning this record for some time. No song has been released from the record yet but you can check out artwork and tracklist below. The record is currently on presale via Amanda’s Patreon site.
The pair will tour as well, including two NYC shows: Bowery Ballroom on May 20 and Rough Trade on May 21. Tickets for Bowery and Rough Trade go on sale Friday, February 24 at noon and are currently on presale for Amanda’s Patreon members. All tour dates are listed below.
