Amanda Shires releasing 'My Piece of Land,' touring (dates & stream)
Alt-country violinist/guitarist/singer Amanda Shires will follow 2013’s Down Fell the Doves with a new album, My Piece of Land, on September 16. Three songs are out now — “Slippin’,” “Harmless,” and “When You’re Gone” — and they all make the record seem pretty promising. Listen to those below.
Amanda recently toured opening for Ryan Adams, and she’s got headlining dates coming up this month through December. The tour includes an album release show in NYC on September 13 at City Winery with Nashville country rocker Ruston Kelly opening. Tickets for that show are on sale now. All dates are listed below.
