American Football @ Webster Hall – 10/11/14
American Football continued their sold-out 3-night Webster Hall run last night (10/11) with Into It. Over It. opening. Like the previous night, they played in front of a screen with the house from their album cover, and played all the songs from their album and EP plus a bonus track from the new reissue, just in a slightly different order this time (“Never Meant” closed the show last night). Pictures of that show are in this post.
After Webster, American Football and Into It. Over It. headed to Saint Vitus for a much more intimate aftershow. Doors were at 12:30 AM and the line was wrapped around the block way before they opened. Everyone got in though, and the show went lateee until 3 AM when the cops showed up and closed it down. This one was way more laid back than the Webster shows, and they opened with “Never Meant” this time (and joked that they’d just play that 12 times and then leave). Video of that, with more pictures and the setlist from Webster, below.
The Webster run wraps up tonight (10/12) with Matt Pond opening. Sold out.
