American Nightmare announce first album in 15 years, share first single
Reunited hardcore greats American Nightmare recently teased something coming on Rise Records in February, and now we know that is indeed their first album since 2003’s We’re Down Til We’re Underground. It’s self-titled and due out on February 16 via Rise, Heartworm Press, and Deathwish (pre-order). The band writes, “The album was recorded live to tape in Boston, MA at Mystic Valley studio by our drummer, Alex Garcia-Rivera and was mastered by Bob Weston. Dark and primal hardcore punk – true to American Nightmare.” The lead single is “The World Is Blue” and it’s a serious ripper that should cause some real anticipation for this album. Watch its lyric video below.
American Nightmare also recently announced a tour with Pissed Jeans, including a Brooklyn show on February 17 at Market Hotel that also has Protester and Spiritual Cramp on the bill. Tickets for that show are still available.
