Amon Amarth @ The Paramount, 2/5/2014
As far as big-tent metal live acts go, Amon Amarth are something of a Platonic ideal. Their repertoire isn’t the most diverse, but they deliver the material with the ease and flair that only a truly professional band can command. And more importantly, they know how to play to their crowd. The audience reaction at this show was easily one of the most rabid I’ve ever seen; mosh pits are a common sight, but virtually the entire crowd went airborne at critical moments in this performance. – [Invisible Oranges]
Amon Amarth, Enslaved, & Skeletonwitch brought their tour to the NYC area last week, playing Irving Plaza on February 4 and the Paramount in Huntington, NY on February 5. We’ve got a writeup and pics from the Irving Plaza show over at Invisible Oranges, plus a separate photo set from the Huntington show, which you can check out in this post.
We will continue to give away tickets for this tour via our East Village Radio show, which airs every Tuesday at 10pm. Tune in and check out those Huntington pics below…
