Amy Rigby reissued 1996’s ‘Diary of a Mod Housewife’ on vinyl, touring

NYC singer songwriter Amy Rigby released her solo debut, Diary of a Mod Housewife, in 1996, which detailed love and life in the city with witty, twangy charm. The record only ever got a CD release but is now getting its first-ever vinyl pressing for its 20th anniversary. You can stream “Beer and Kisses,” a duet with Wesley Stace (then known as John Wesley Harding), below and order your copy here.

Amy, who has since made many more records (including three with husband Wreckless Eric), will promote the Diary of a Mod Housewife repress, on tour, including two shows at NYC’s HiFi Bar tonight (11/15) and Wednesday (11/16). Tickets (technically a “suggested donation”) are on sale now.
