Andrew Bird played his first of two “Gezelligheid” shows at Riverside Church in NYC last night (12/10). Many people thought the church was a beautiful location for Andrew’s show, and the sound was great too. As usual, Andrew came equipped with his violin, guitar, and giant horns behind him. Though he played most of the show on his own, Tift Merritt and Alan Hampton joined him for a portion of it. Pictures from the show (including one of the setlist, though he didn’t stick entirely to it last night) are in this post.

Andrew Bird will do it again at the same venue tonight (12/11) and though last night was sold out, tickets for tonight’s show are still available.
