Andrew Bird played new songs at Le Poisson Rouge w/ Roger Sellers (pics, videos, setlist)

Andrew Bird is now over in Europe for a tour there, but before he left the US he played a NYC show on Thursday (6/25) at Le Poisson Rouge. He used the show as an opportunity to test out some new material, including one called “St. Preservus,” which he said is a contribution to an upcoming Zach Galifianakis show, and one called “Truth Lies Low,” which you can watch a video of below. He of course included some old favorites too, including “Armchairs,” which a fan shouted for and Andrew played right away despite originally planning to play it later in the set.
