Andy Stott

Millie & Andrea is the collaborative project of IDM mastermind Andy Stott and Miles Whitaker of dark ambient duo Demdike Stare. Earlier this year, they put out their debut album, Drop the Vowels, via Modern Love, which is full of out-there electronic music that should appeal to any fans of Andy and Miles’ respective projects. Hear it for yourself by streaming the LP (via THUMP) below.

Millie & Andrea are now set to go on their label Modern Love’s North American tour this September, which also features Andy Stott and Demdike Stare sets (all three are live sets). The tour hits NYC on September 19 at Output which also features a set from Miles on his own and Modern Love’s Sean Canty. In Output’s Panther Room that night, Vatican Shadow plays a collaborative live/DJ set with Funtion, along with sets from The Bunker’s Ulysses and Bryan Kasenic. Tickets for that show, which get you into both rooms, are on sale now.
