Artists confirmed for the project include Angel Olsen, How To Dress Well, Toro Y Moi, Whitney, The Range, Mitski, Tim Heidecker, Will Oldham, Beach Fossils, PWR BTTM, Jens Lekman, Cherry Glazerr, Minus The Bear, Into It. Over It., Torres, Mountain Goats, Avey Tare, Peter Silberman, Twin Peaks, Mountain Man, Nap Eyes, and Nothing. Full list of announced contributors are listed below.

The first song will be shared on Inauguration Day (January 20) and for a donation of $30 or more access to unlimited streaming and downloads of all 100 songs in the project. Proceeds will go to The People’s Climate Movement, All Above All, Cosecha, Southerners On New Ground, Hoosier Action, and Revolutions Per Minute.

As mentioned, Priests have organized a protest concert on Inauguration Night at Washington, DC’s Black Cat, but that is not the only protest show in DC next week. On Monday, January 16 (MLK Day), Ted Leo, The Max Levine Ensemble, Trophy Wife, and Laughing Man are playing St Stephens Church (more info).

Common and The National are playing a free show at the 9:30 Club on Thursday (1/19, all tickets have already been claimed); also on Thursday is Immortal Technique, Jeff Rosenstock, Rebel Diaz, Sammus, Evan Greer, and Taina Asili at the Rock N Roll Hotel (more info) and on Saturday, January 21 at The Black Cat it’s Planned Parenthood Benefit “The Anti-Ball” with Antibalas, TEEN, Kimya Dawson, Trixie Whitley, Xenia Rubinos, Holly Miranda and Kyp Malone from TV on the Radio (tickets).
