Anna Calvi postpones U.S. shows
Oh no! But not so bad. Anna Calvi just posted:
To my fans in the USA- as you know I’ve been looking forward to bringing my Hunter show to the USA for so long.. especially as you sold these shows out in record time.. but I am very disappointed that due to forces completely out of my control I am unable to perform at the December shows in NY and LA. The shows are now rescheduled to next year (April 6 NY and April 9 LA) and all tickets will still be valid and/or refunds available. I promise I will make it up to you all next year and make these shows even more special and memorable. All my love, Anna
Meanwhile, the Peaky Blinders soundtrack was released Friday, November 15. Anna was responsible for the score for the new season, and she recorded a few songs specifically for it too, including a cover of FKA twigs’ “Papi Pacify,” and “You’re Not God” which smolders just on the edge of bursting into flames:
