Anthony Green’s (Circa Survive) favorite albums of 2018

Circa Survive at Webster Hall in 2017 (more by Amanda Hatfield)

Anthony Green had a busy 2018, with the release of his new solo album Would You Still Be In Love and some solo touring, as well as lots of touring with his band Circa Survive in continued support of last year’s The Amulet.

Now that the year is wrapping up, we asked Anthony what his favorite albums of 2018 were, and he sent a very cool, multi-genre list of 26 albums including releases by Turnstile, Deafheaven, Foxing, boygenius, J Cole, Mogwai, This Will Destroy You, Soccer Mommy, Jonny Greenwood, Kamasi Washington, Freeway, Gouge Away, Janelle Monae, Nothing, Emma Ruth Rundle, Jon Brion, the first EP in 14 years by Taken (whose bassist Nick Beard is also in Circa Survive), and more. Check out his full list below.

Circa Survive recently put out a video for “Flesh and Bone.” Watch that, along with a video from Anthony’s solo album, below.
