Anti-Flag

Anti-Flag take on gun control, sexual assault & more in new video (watch)

Anti-Flag‘s political music has felt especially powerful in the Trump era, and they’re not done tackling the corrupt system that currently leads our country. They have a new video for the folk-punk-ish “Finish What We Started” off last year’s American Fall (order yours), and it splices footage of the band performing with blocks of text that reveal sad truths about the state of America. The video deals with gun control, homeless LGBTQ youth, the recent rise of hate crimes, physical and sexual violence against women, and unjust treatment of immigrants. It premieres below.

Anti-Flag will continue to voice these types of concerns on this year’s “Silence=Violence Tour,” which features other bands who are fighting the same fight, including Stray From the Path (who released “Goodnight Alt-Right” last year), The White Noise, and Sharptooth (who released “Fuck You Donald Trump” last year). As mentioned, that tour includes a show at NYC’s Highline Ballroom on February 11 (tickets). All dates are listed below.
