Arcade Fire - Electric Blue

Arcade Fire release new song "Electric Blue," covered Lorde (listen)

UPDATE: Shortly after covering Lorde, which you can listen to below, Arcade Fire premiered another new song, “Electric Blue,” on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show. Watch it below.

Arcade Fire did a session on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge today (7/13). Along with playing “Everything Now,” the title track from their upcoming album, the band covered one of the most infectious singles of the year (with a youth choir to back them up), Lorde’s “Green Light.” Listen to that below, or listen to the whole show (the Lorde cover comes around the 2:25:04 mark). BBC have also shared a couple of video clips from parts of “Green Light,” which you can watch below.

Everything Now comes out later this month, on July 28, via Columbia. Aside from the title track, Arcade Fire have released new tracks “Signs of Life” and “Creature Comfort,” and debuted another live, “Chemistry.” Arcade Fire’s North American tour starts in September, including a show at Madison Square Garden in NYC (tickets). They’ll also be at Lollapalooza.

Lorde released her sophomore album Melodrama in June, and tours North America in 2018. Before that, she plays Outside Lands and Lollapalooza.
