Free Show at Irving Plaza

Fight Fox and Mobilize the Masses: an evening of film, music and fiery oration aimed at exposing the big lies about truth in media and inspiring the people to get out and vote! Featuring excerpts from the brand new documentary Outfoxed with director Robert Greenwald, musical guests include Chocolate Genius, Carl Hancock Rux and Toshi Reagon, appearances by Nelson George, Arianna Huffington, Jeff Cohen and more. This event is presented as part of the Imagine Festival of Arts, Issues & Ideas, a citywide cultural festival designed to inspire, instigate and support civic engagement. From August 28-September 2 the Imagine Festival will present over 100 cultural events in 6 days including concerts, performances, forums, town meetings, exhibits, screenings, and other issue-based artworks.
