Posted by: Kiddo at September 3, 2004 03:21 PM

This is a great way to get Conservatives who will be voting for The Honorable Mr. Bush in November to "Wake up" and see what a great candidate Kerry is. I mean, after all, look at his supporters. Thumbs up, guys! No wonder your party's fate is sealed with failure.

Posted by: Conservative Republican at September 4, 2004 01:27 AM

Fucking hippies. You got nothing accomplished.

Posted by: fuck at September 4, 2004 02:41 AM

Stupid Hippy-Type girls with more boobs than brains used to look a lot better back in the 60's. This current crop can't justify their ignorance by their good looks. Regardless of their good intentions, they do their country a disservice and encourage those who want to kill them, and us! They're just plain misguided, uninformed, and ignorant of the world around them.
Oh, yes, I like bush, TOO!

Posted by: Bob at September 4, 2004 09:00 AM

This is living proof that liberals are ugly. What's the point of free love if you only get ugly chicks?

Posted by: Justin Bauman at September 4, 2004 03:02 PM

You guys are just... did you go into a photo album and look at a whole buncha pictures of hippies on the front lawn of the washington monument and say "hey we should do that!"?
Be original! I totally support what you're doing but how do you expect to get any kind of respect when you're behaving like little kids, throwing the clothes asunder and prancing around like ultra flamers.
Diplomacy only works when diplomats work it. You want to change something, learn how it's really done. It's not done by throwing a "flame a thon". It's done by getting something these people want, and throwing THAT in their face.
Get some info.. like those TRUTH people. they totally got leaks on the inside and they throw em int the public. And that fuckin WORKS!
Again, i totoally support the action but it was done all wrong.

Posted by: HOBBES at September 4, 2004 07:32 PM

Creative and funny. Your exposure needed more media exposure.

When and where is the next protest? Revise and conquer. Don't stop now, keep going!

Posted by: jane at September 5, 2004 09:25 AM

I live forty minutes outside of downtown Seattle, and the only time I've ever been to New York was when I was six years old. It always seemed like such an intimidating place: the most important city bar none, the most idiomatic of metropolises, the center of the universe. Seeing your photos makes it less threatening and paints a picture, to use scenester language, of 'fun'. Yes, there are of course impossibly good looking women, like the one being interviewed by Triumph (Is it just me or does she bear a passing resemblance to that most famous of interns?). That's what's expected. But there are also old women with wrinkles, marching topless alongside her, that the networks wouldn't touch with a laser-pointer. Thanks for your charming pictures of New York which, in my provincial eyes, make the city seem like a great place to live. (Albeit, I do love Seattle, so most suburbanites would disagree with my assessment)

Posted by: D. Huang at September 5, 2004 08:47 PM

that is so trashy

Posted by: Go bush at September 5, 2004 09:07 PM

Isn't it kind of ironic how there's a woman holding up a "Love Everybody" sign and they are protesting Bush? I mean, I get the point--but they all hate Bush...

Posted by: Jayci at September 6, 2004 12:53 AM

Glad people like this DO NOT run this country.

Posted by: Tom at September 6, 2004 04:10 PM

People are turning into pure trash it seems, To protest anything is your American right, be glad you have it and fight for those that don't

Posted by: Tomt at September 6, 2004 04:11 PM

looks like they were protesting deodorant and fashion more than actual political issues.

Posted by: nutmilk at September 6, 2004 04:25 PM

If these are Kerry's supporters I'm definitely voting Bush, lol.

Posted by: Bishop at September 7, 2004 10:34 AM

Posted by: at September 7, 2004 03:37 PM

"More Fucking Less Fighting" I would definately take her up on that offer!!

Where do you get the my cherry for Kerry panties

Posted by: at September 9, 2004 02:55 PM

Thanks for putting a piece of the sky back. One of the videos of the 9/11/01 jet attack has one of your buildings in it (or so I think http://www.brooklynvegan.com/img/panty/after9.jpg) and helped ease the eye, today on 9/11/04. That's what I get for kissing the sky! I think the photos were wonderful and all those people (except for the police officer with the video camera which reminds me of a paranoia of seeing a "North" Vietnamese doctor and nurse, when they spoke out on Madison Ave. years ago after their hospital was bombed) hard to do I remember trying to photo the "Moratorium against War" back then. Thanks for the sight!
