. i think we all need to give nico some more credit! his arrangements weren't meant to overpower the band's sound, but to accent the pre-existing, nuanced melodies that run through grizzly bear's music. read his blog post about it (nicomuhly.com). i guess if you haven't seen them before you wouldn't realize just how magical the show was, all of the guys were fantastic, as were the dessner brothers on banjo and guitar. special mention: daniel rossen- the guy's on an entirely Other level.
