CMJ: The End

TMJ

I have nothing more to report on CMJ. What you read in my last post was it.

Friday night I gave in to my body, the rainy weather, and my general lack of interest in seeing any more shows. I stayed home, cleaned, and caught up on sleep.

By Saturday I had completely lost interest in CMJ. Instead I went canoeing on the Gowanus Canal, walked around the DUMBO arts festival, and later went to a party with people who thought CMJ was a dental condition. I did end the night in a Lower East Side bar, possibly surrounded by strung out music execs from the Midwest, but that doesn't count.

As the day progresses, I hope to get some more posts up here.

In the meantime:

Gothamist: CMJ Review: Night 3 starting the Thermals

the Village Broadsheet: CMJ FIRST FLIGHT-Brian Wilson And Four Blocks of Steel-Framed Hell

NY TImes (requires registration):

Catherine's Pita: She was probably standing right next to me at Har Mar Superstar

More in the Monitor: A whole bunch of reviews...(Tegan and Sara played the Apple Store?)
