Eagles of Death Metal and Walking Concert are coming to NYC together for a set of shows at Northsix (tickets) and CBGB (tickets) on December 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The Eagles of Death Metal feature Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age (as Baby Duck) on drums and Tim Vanhamel from the Belgian band Millionare on guitar. I caught their last show at Mercury Lounge, and it was a lot of fun. Front man Jesse Hughes (The Devil) makes the show with his over-the-top act.
Walking Concert is the new project of Walter Schreifels. Walter's last three bands were Gorilla Biscuits, Quicksand, and Rival Schools. That alone is reason to check out this show.
