Broken Social Scene was in town to open for the Pixies on December 14th. They made better use of their time away from Canada by playing shows at Bowery Ballroom the nights before and after.

These pictures freak me out. Seriously though, I could have taken these pictures, because they almost exactly capture my viewpoint. We must have been standing shoulder to shoulder. Wish I knew about your site sooner, because I would have loved to score those extra Hammerstein/Pixies/BSS tix you had. Your companion still feel the same way about BSS?

I simply cannot wait for this book to be released. Matysik's books offer a tremendous insight into the strange world of pro wrestling. 'Wrestling at the Chase' and 'Brody' is a hard act to follow, and Larry is the only author who can pull it off.
