Jesse Malin @ LIT Tonight

Jesse Malin, who's playing Maxwells on New Years Eve, is playing a special benefit show tonight at LIT. Long time NYC Malin fans are used to seeing him play in small venues, but given that his last show here was at Irving Plaza, and Bowery Ballroom before that, this one will be pretty special. A.R.E. Weapons, Sex Slaves, Fresh Kills, and Satan Sleep open. $10

'This is a benefit show for a sweet lady named Erin who was in a severe car accident and can't walk for the next six months. The bands heard about her mounting hospital bills and decided to do something about it. For $2 more there is a raffle with prizes from Tripp Clothing, Agitha, a photo shoot by Robert Calderone and many more surprises.'

Tonight is also the sold out Tinkle Comedy show at Pianos, !!! @ Mercury Lounge, Patti Smith @ Bowery Ballroom, H20 @ Knitting Factory, and Maceo Parker @ Irving Plaza.
