Scissor Sisters About to Take Over Hammerstein

The last 2 NYC Pixies shows happen this Saturday night. Less than 24 hours after the pixie dust settles, the Scissor Sisters will take over Hammerstein for their only home town show on their current tour (not counting Saturday Night Live last week). The show is sold out, and Craigslist isn’t looking so good for those who want, but I’m sure the scalpers will be out in full force so give it a try. VHS or Beta opens. Get there early.

Newsday reports the story everyone has reported before: Scissor Sisters’ danceable retro sound reaches the States after conquering England

At least Newsday knows where they’re from. The Associated Press seems to think the Scissor Sisters are from Britian. If you’re reading this Kerry, they’re from New York.

Have they conquored middle america? Indianpolis approves.
