Billy Idol and Others to Play SXSW, Coachella
Above photo of Billy Idol with Benjy at Howard Stern's 2004 Christmas party. Billy is just one of many performers confirmed so far for this year's SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. Check out Torr's Blog and Donewaiting for more SXSW news.
The other big festival in the news is Coachella. The lineup came out yesterday, and you can hear more about that here, here, here, here, and here. Billy Idol isn't playing, but Bauhaus, Nine Inch Nails, New Order, Gang of Four, and.... COCTEAU TWINS are.

Day 2 looks much better then Day 1. I don't want to see a festival with Coldplay headlining. And I'm worried Bauhaus will suck due to some heroin-ish event.
