Misfits Reunion @ Danzig show in NY, Boston, and PA

Misfits Was it just three days ago that I was crying like a baby at the cost of a ticket to see Danzig at Spirit? Well, he's obviously reading this blog. I believe I said:

Glenn, what have you done for me lately??? Why should I spend $30 (+ service charges) to see you at Club Spirit (of all places!).? Why? At least throw me a bone with an opener I actually heard of

Two Misfits principals will share a stage once again to relive the legendary punk act's glory days.

Glenn Danzig and Doyle Von Frankenstein announced they'll play a 30-minute set at three shows next week. Since The Misfits fell apart in the early '80s, the duo's only shared a stage once before, for a pair of shows last year. While Danzig's solo tour schedule precludes any real Misfits reunion, it's a lot closer than the hodgepodge lineup that usually tours under the Misfits moniker.

Danzig and Von Frankenstein will play their Misfits set at:

Feb. 28 - Roxy Theatre, Boston
March 1 - Spirit Performance Center, New York
March 2 - Electric Factory, Philadelphia
