Blogging M.I.A. | Sri Lankan Hip-Hop Mix
You've been hearing a lot about M.I.A., and I don't mean in the 5 or so posts that I've mentioned her. The Village Voice wrote something about her for like 4 weeks in a row (estimating). Everyone was buzzing about the "indefinite" delay of her new album that ended up being a record deal with Interscope. The delay was not so indefinite at all. Arular is out, and you can order it at Insound.
Coolfer did his duty by blogging about the Sri Lankan rapper that bloggers love. But who knew how far that love stretched? BoingBoing, one of the most read/awarded blogs in the world, has even started M.I.A. blogging. And in honor of M.I.A., they've provided a link to a Sri Lankan hip-hop mix for download.

Fond memories of tamil family, especially Jane.
Hope a peaceful compromise will be reached for all. Sri Lanka is a beautiful, spiritual island with so much to offer. It is also the place of my birthright.
