CBGB Update | The Ramones Obviously Not Playing a Benefit

if anyone saw the Ramones Doc-u, End of The Century then they heard Johnny correctly talk about Hilly and his crazy wife ect fighting over money and Hilly trying to rip them off that they had to watch the door
and its all true., theres plenty more that alot of new people who go there dont know about
wonder why you really dont see alot of the old people storming the gates? And publicly speaking out outraged?
if confromted we have to say something about the time we had ect but its not Hilly were defending. We made that place what it was. Hilly didnt even want to build the first stage, a band built it the first band Eric Emerson and the Magic Tramps built it, they always played with the NY DOLLS. It was Eric in fact that got Hilly to get bands to pay there and it was Chris Stien that came up wih the idea that the bands get the door because Hilly did not want to pay any bands. He really didnt understand or know what was going on He thought the Ramones were terrible and that the SHIRTS were the best band..Who are the Shirts? exactly.........
All Hilly did was walk around with his coffee mug of brandy counting heads like dollar bills lineing up at the bar. Or argue with Maryilan
Hilly should of bought the building when he could really cheap, His price quotes are off in the 70s he could of got it incredibly cheap. TOmmy Dean bought Maxs the whole building very cheap considering what its worth now and even then in a better area on Park ave south. SO theres no doubt how cheap the building cbgbs was in was

Thank you for mentioning that we-"Eric Emerson & the Magic Tramps" were the band that built the first stage at "CBGB's" -then called "Hilly's On The Bowery".We needed a place to play after being in the "Mercer Arts Center" when it collapsed during rehearsal.I was with Eric the afternoon we decided to stop & ask Hilly if we could play there.He said-"This is a Hell's Angel bar,no-one wants to hear R&R here".Eric was friends with the Angels & they lived around the corner,we just left there.Granted the area was funky,but the Angels were cool.So we said -"If we build a stage, can we play here?" He said "you build a stage & you can play".
We hit the street & found plywood & carpet-
set it up in the back & booked the gig,
I have a "Grand Opening" flyer to show on our website scheduled to launch next week.Actually we opened the show,being the first band to play as well.Many bands claim to be first,so thank you for noting that Eric & the Tramps got it going...

Sesu is a flake and a bloodsucker and I heard alot obout his relationship with his ex wife and family from someone who knows him and knew Eric
its really sad to cash in on someone whos dead and lie to people and decive them I tried to help sesue he had me runningaround bugging people to get to David and Slyvain becasue Iam friends with some of the NY DOLLS and they put up with it but they dont remeber him and I spent a day with all the dolls a few months back and asked Sylvain my self who said whos that he remebered lenny the violinst but its larry I told hi mand he laughedand he remebered black walter walter greenberg tghe bass player becasue walters had been around along time before Sesu in NYC
and after all this and Knowing I wrote trippingwith eric in Chris Steins apt he wont address it or acknowledge it
even though I wrote on serveral websites about eric yearsago and mentioned that fact before Sesue saw something I worte and leechedonto me
what a user and a fool guitinga job he had for years and losinghis pension thinkingthis cd which is so poorly poroduced would make him rich
ANd as stupid as he is I had a close friend of Chris stein willing to computerize and fix the old tapes he does it al lthe time for chris and chris then remixes or whatever he does i nhis home studuio and he went back and forth Sesue with thi guy emails and phone calls andthen after god knows how long goes to someone else and he was goingto do it free then chris might of gotten involved I saw Chris this week and mentioned Sesu when Debbiecame with the cd I had given her copies of a few days before in case i didnt see Chris in case they didnt play the dbgb rally Debbie really didnt want to do it that much she was sorta maybe yes naw im tired But they id play and were Fantastic and Debbie bought along the cd for chris and i wont say what he said but he made a sorta I gues you could say forget him face waved him off so sesue no chris dosnt apporve or want to be involed and he didnt appreciate your remark Sesu which was about chris he ought to rmember were he came from all because Chris dosnt want to respond to him or his emails throughthe website he dosnt want anythingto do with it because he dosnt and to insult chris offends me Chris is the last person Id call a snob..and hes not a mooucher like Sesu thats for f-ing shure

Don't know who this DIOS cat is, but he sure need to get his facts right before he spouts his fractured English for all to see. This cat doesn't convince me at all. I don't believe a great deal of what he says. Sad, man.
