There's nothing more frustrating than finding out your website went down on a Sunday afternoon and not being able to do anything about it until Monday morning the next day.

That's exactly what just happened to this site. Like Gawker in October, I had an outdated credit card on file at my host. Apparantly they sent me an email about it 2 weeks ago, but I never saw it, so without warning, and on a Sunday when it's impossible to do anything about it, they brought my site down. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Speaking of Gawker, Fred Durst is suing them. This is officially my first reference to the Fred Durst sex tape hack scandal. I got bored after I spent so much time on the Paris one. I can tell you that I was very careful when posting the Paris one not to associate this site with any of the contraband. Gawker had to know they were asking for trouble by actually hosting the sex tape (though only for a short time).

I've already received one threatening lawyer letter for simply LINKING to a site that had the Carrie Tucker sex tape. That post is now censored. Why fight to link to a sex tape? You can understand why Carrie might not want people looking at it. Bill O'Reilly is another story.

Looks like Stereogum is having some problems as well...
