Pitchfork a "must-read"
"Buoyed by the increasing popularity of indie rock acts such as Franz Ferdinand, the Shins, Wilco and Bright Eyes, Pitchfork has carved out a following of about 1 million online visitors a month, a figure that rivals Rolling Stone magazine online.
In some circles, Pitchfork has become synonymous with indie rock and has higher visibility than competitors such as epitonic.com and dustedmagazine.com"

Bah, the last thing we need is more advertising for Pitchfork.

Stylus Magazine is the best!

Stylus is tops, yes. However, I've grown to like Pitchfork over the last year. If they'd remained a clearinghouse for guitar-based indie rock like they used to, I doubt they'd get even 10,000 hits a month these days. Fortunately, they've branched out and wrangled better writers.
