"An institution in their homeland, a two-hit wonder in the U.S., and, during the last half of their ten-year career, bona fide stars in the U.K. and most of Europe, Crowded House recorded some of the best pop music of the late '80s and early '90s."

Paul Hester of Crowded House took his life the other day. This post is dedicated to Paul.

Coverville is a "A 30-minute music podcast featuring the best of cover songs, usually produced three times a week." The latest edition of Coverville is described as "A Tribute to Paul Hester, featuring music from Crowded House and Split Enz"(not all covers). Download this moving tribute.

Very sad news
I firts heard about Crowded House whilst living in Australia. I was luck enough to see them a few times in the UK when I came back.

Undoubtedly one of the best groups ever, I'd rate their live shows as some of the very best I have ever .

If you've never checked them out before, I highly recommend them. Some genius lyrics
