Whitney stops taking hits | Even Dando, Rilo Kiley MP3s

Monday night I went to see the Dentyne-sponsored, teacher benefiting, $5.00 Ben Kweller & The Walkmen show at Irving Plaza (pics at I Rock I Roll & The Modern Age) (The Features played too, but I missed them). Not really a Kweller fan, but it was pretty cool when he brought Evan Dando, of the Lemonheads fame, on the stage to cover Creedence Clearwater Revival's "have you ever seen the rain?"

Is Rilo Kiley really such a hit? I guess so. They're headlining two nights in a row at Webster Hall.

Apparently Lena Horne really loves Whitney Houston. How do I know? Whitney was given permission by Lena to play Lena in an upcoming movie. Whitney entered rehab right after getting the confirmation.

Head over to "Revolution in the Head" to download a live version of Rilo Kiley's It's a Hit, an MP3 of Evan Dando covering Whitney Houston's How Will I Know, and three more songs.

side note: Bon Jovi, you're absolutely right (see comments).... This is absolutely despicable. I don't care how much money it brings in. Not very creative at all.
